Research at the Centre for Management Simulation

Since its foundation in 2008, the ZMS has not only been active in teaching with simulation games, but also makes an important contribution in research on the simulation method. This includes the German Simulation Game Prize, which is awarded every two years to outstanding theses and dissertations, as well as the series of publications published by the ZMS. In addition, the ZMS maintains the only subject-specific literature database on the simulation method, a valuable tool for researchers and interested parties. Last but not least, the ZMS actively supports cooperative dissertation projects. In the fall of 2021, a new series of events will start with the Business Simulation Research Forum (PFF), in which current research projects will be presented and discussed.
