The Centre for Management Simulation (ZMS)

The Centre for Management Simulation (ZMS) at DHBW Stuttgart is a unique institution in the university landscape. The main focus lies on the development of innovative seminar concepts using the simulation game learning method for a wide range of topics from business and management. The students are thereby enabled to think in contexts, to assess the impact of decisions and to represent their own positions and opinions. With the range of seminars, the ZMS promotes professional expertise and also methodological and social competences. Through the systematic integration of simulation game seminars into the study contents, students are well prepared for the assumption of responsibility in entrepreneurial practice.

In order to achieve this goal, the ZMS acts as an advisory unit within the university. Internal and external seminar facilitators are specially trained for these challenging seminar concepts. Through applied research, the method and its use are constantly developed further.

The ZMS is part of the CASE, the association of innovative teaching and research centers of the Business and Health Faculty at DHBW Stuttgart.
